The people caring for your home.
Birch & Beam is a small, Vermont-based team — not a franchise, not a call center. Here's who we are, and why we do this the way we do.
Birch & Beam began with Cathleen "Shambhavi" Fitzpatrick, who started preparing her own Vermont home for guests, and found she loved something unexpected about it: preparing a space so a guest would arrive and simply feel welcomed.
Years of working one-on-one with people taught her that care lives in the smallest details. The same attention that helps someone feel safe, welcomed, and cared for now guides how Birch & Beam cares for homes.
That's the standard every person on this team is trained to meet. Because every home deserves the same care, no matter who is scheduled that day.
We don't sell cleaning. We practice stewardship.
What We Believe
Five things that guide how we work.
We Notice — Attention is the product, not the afterthought.
We Care — Every home is treated like it matters, because it does.
We Learn — Every visit teaches us something worth remembering.
We Show Up — Reliability isn't a value we describe. It's one we practice.
We Leave Things Better — A home should feel a little more cared for after we go than before.
Who You're Actually Trusting
The same values, whoever shows up.
Every person who cares for your home is trained, insured, and background-checked. When someone arrives at your home, they arrive carrying the same standards, training, and care that Birch & Beam was built on.
Our hope is simple: that every time we leave a home, it feels just a little more cared for than when we arrived.
Ready When You Are

Every home is different. We'd love to learn about yours.
