    Your name, email, town, and what you’re looking for. It takes about a minute.

  2. Talk it through

    A phone call or a video walkthrough of your home, whichever is easier for you.

  3. Get a written quote

    Priced for your home’s size, condition, and the care it needs. Nothing is scheduled until you say yes.

  4. Schedule your clean

    We set the first visit together. Recurring service starts with a deep clean.

How we work

Cleaning is the foundation. Stewardship is the philosophy.

In practice, stewardship comes down to a few habits we bring to every visit.

  • We remember your home.Your Care Profile holds how you like the beds made, which counters need a gentler product, where the spare bulbs live. You never have to explain the same thing twice.
  • We look while we clean.A dripping faucet, a chirping smoke detector, a window left unlatched. We don’t make repairs, but we tell you what we noticed in a short note after the visit.
  • We finish the room.Towels folded, pillows set, lights off, the door locked behind us. The last few minutes are where a home starts to feel cared for.

Who you’ll be working with

Started this summer, after two years at our own front door.

Birch & Beam began with Cathleen “Shambhavi” Fitzpatrick. For two years she hosted, cleaned, staged, and ran her own Vermont vacation rental: washing and folding the linens between guests, resetting every room, and noticing what needed attention before the next arrival.

She started Birch & Beam in 2026 to bring that same attention to other people’s homes. The company is based in Worcester and works only in Central Vermont.
